King Jesus Will Pass the Gate For You
27th May 2026

“He who opens the breach goes up before them; they break through and pass the gate, going out by it. Their king passes on before them, the Lord at their head.”
‭‭Micah‬ ‭2‬:‭13‬ ‭ESV‬‬

The people of Israel were in exile for many years, stripped of their rights, their ownership, their voice, and even their identity in their own land. It was a place where they no longer felt like themselves. There could have been many discussions among the people about breaking free and leaving the place where they had been trapped for years.

Although they had the desire to leave, the greatest fear may have been who would lead the way. Perhaps there were people chosen among them, or individuals who volunteered to lead, but their attempts may have ended in failure. Those setbacks could have discouraged the people from even trying again to break free and walk out of exile.

It was a place that may have seemed like permanent slavery. But the Word of God reveals that what appears to be permanent suffering becomes temporary when King Jesus is involved in leading the way.

What seems like a strong gate, impossible to break through, must give way when the Lord of Lords passes by. Iron bars, tall gates, strongholds, chains, and every obstacle must surrender before His authority.

When King Jesus leads the way, no one can stand against Him. Seasons obey Him, situations change, hearts are humbled, and provisions are released. He makes a path where there was none before. What people call impossible becomes possible in the hands of God.

King Jesus never backs out. He never leaves us nor abandons us halfway through the journey. He faithfully leads His people into a permanent place of freedom, peace, restoration, and victory in Him.

Trust and follow Jesus, the One who makes a way where there seems to be no way. When He goes before you, no barrier is too strong, no wound too deep, and no situation too hopeless for His mighty power to overcome.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for going before us and leading us through every battle, obstacle, and season of hardship. Lord Jesus, break every stronghold, every chain, and every gate that stands against our freedom. Help us to trust You even when the way seems impossible. Thank You for never leaving nor abandoning us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
