“Even to your old age I am He, and to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear; I will carry and will save.”

Isaiah 46:4 ESV

We did not come into existence out of thin air. We are God’s idea, a plan He set in place before the foundation of the earth. The Lord our God takes ownership of our existence, and He takes responsibility to carry us through.

Earthly fathers were meant to reflect God the Father, but not all live as He intended. Even the best father in the world is no match for our Heavenly Father. He is the perfect Father—full of love, full of compassion, and full of wisdom.

This passage reminds us that from the moment we were formed, God has taken care of all that we need. There is nothing in this world beyond His ability to help us through. Our Father in heaven holds the whole world in His hands. From provision to protection, He has everything covered. He watches over us when we are young and strong, and He continues to carry us when we grow old and are unable to help ourselves.

For God Almighty, we are always His children, always under His care, always kept under His wings.

From birth to the end of our days, His unfailing love sustains us. We never go beyond His sight, no matter where we are or what season we are in.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for creating me and for carrying me through every season of my life. Help me to trust in Your care and rest in Your faithfulness. Remind me that I am always under Your wings, always seen, and always sustained by Your love. In Jesus’ name, amen.
