The Great Rescue Plan of God

“I know their sufferings, and I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land to a good and broad land, a land flowing with milk and honey.” Exodus 3:7–8 ESV

The whole Bible speaks of struggle, of love, and of the deep longing of God to win us back to Himself in love. This passage reveals that God is personally involved in our lives, bringing us out into a place that is good, broad, bountiful, and prosperous.

God Himself is in the rescue plan to redeem us, so we can be set free, restored to fellowship, worship Him, and experience His love. This is a hard truth to fully understand, but Father God is simply and deeply in love with us.

The people of God in this passage were chosen by Him, yet because of idolatry and rejecting Him as God, they became enslaved in a foreign land. When the leaders saw that they were multiplying and becoming a national threat, Pharaoh imposed forced labor on the Israelites. In extreme and harsh hardship, their suffering became a catalyst to seek God.

When they cried out and searched for God, He came to their rescue with a plan. The Israelites were seeking escape from physical suffering, but God was looking to rescue their hearts so He could reveal His love and restore fellowship with them.

The Word of God reveals that even in your suffering, God has a rescue plan—to draw your attention back to His heart and to let you experience His love.

The Israelites’ slavery and God’s personal involvement in their rescue foreshadow Jesus Christ. God Himself incarnated in the form of man, took suffering upon Himself, bore the punishment, and set us free so we could worship the Father and live in fellowship with Him.

As we remember Christ’s death and resurrection, remember this: all God desires is you. You are not too distant for Him to shower you with His love. You are not forgotten. You are not lost. You are precious, and you are His beloved.

God will turn your suffering into joy , He will show you wonders and the oppressor do not have authority over you as God himself has taken ownership of you .

The cross is the evidence that the love of Jesus Christ is still waiting, with an open invitation, for you to be His forever.

Prayer:

Father God, thank You for seeing our suffering and coming down to rescue us. Draw our hearts back to You. Help us to understand Your deep love and restore us into true fellowship with You. Thank You for the cross and for the freedom we have in Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Break the partnership of lie and fear

“And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.”Revelation 12:11 ESV

God created heaven and earth and all its fullness for humans to possess and to have dominion over. This privilege was not even given to angels, but to mankind, created in His own image. Adam and Eve were enjoying the fullness of the earth and the goodness of God. They lived in purpose. They lived in authority. They lived in His presence.

But a lie from the enemy shattered the purpose God intended for their lives.

The curse fell upon both the deceiver and the victim. The enemy thought it was the end of mankind’s story. He thought the lie had won. But the Almighty God—the Creator, the Author, the Giver of life—already had a rescue plan. He sent His only begotten Son to die for us and rise again, rescuing us from sin and from the consequences of sin.

This is the Good News: Jesus Christ is alive today to cancel the lie and to give you life.

The same strategy the enemy used in the garden is the same strategy he uses today. Truth takes time to be believed, but a lie travels swiftly. The faster it reaches us, the quicker fear tries to take root.

Adam and Eve, who once enjoyed the presence of God, became fearful of His presence. Fear made them hide. Fear made them distance themselves from the very One who loved them.

Lie and fear still work hand in hand. They are partners. When fear shows up, there is usually a lie behind it.

So what lie are you believing today?

You see something troubling on social media or in the news, and suddenly fear whispers, “What if that happens to you?” The enemy fuels that fear with exaggeration and imagination to magnify it.

It could be a small bump on your skin, and the enemy suggests the worst possible outcome.

It could be a loss, a delay, or uncertainty about tomorrow.

The enemy fabricates stories in your mind and stages scenarios that have not even happened, just to keep you trapped in fear.

Fear is so interlocked with lies that it can only be broken by the blood of Jesus Christ.

Truth may not always feel comfortable, but it is powerful and it sets you free. The truth is: God loves you. You are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. Your life is planned and orchestrated by God. You are more than a conqueror. He works all things together for your good.

Anything that speaks opposite to this truth is a lie. Do not partner with it. Do not entertain it. Do not agree with it.

Break the partnership between lie and fear in your life. Overcome the enemy by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of your testimony.

Prayer:

Father God, in the name of Jesus, I plead the blood of the Lamb over my life. Fill my heart with Your truth and anchor me in Your promises. Help me overcome the enemy by the blood of Jesus and by the word of my testimony. I declare that I am redeemed, loved, and victorious in Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
