“The Breaker [the Messiah] will go up before them. They will break through, pass in through the gate and go out through it, and their King will pass on before them, the Lord at their head.” Micah 2:13 AMPC

When someone in authority steps out of his or her office, the vehicle is prepared, the guards are positioned, the roads are cleared, and the buildings along the way are checked and secured. Utmost care is taken so that there is no obstacle, no hindrance, no interruption. It becomes a seamless journey from start to finish.

The one in authority may allow someone to ride with them or follow behind them. That approved person enjoys the same protection and privilege. Their journey becomes secure and unhindered because of the one who goes before them.

The Bible reveals such a privilege to the people of God.

These words in Micah came as encouragement to a people who had lost hope, whose portion had become pain, and who saw no way out of their present condition. To the hopeless, the visionless, the futureless, God declared that the Breaker would go before them — to open the way, to make a path where none existed. Their journey toward freedom and restoration would not remain blocked, because the Lord Himself would be at their head.

This promise is alive and active today because of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ, the Way Maker and Miracle Worker, has already paved the way through His blood. Through Him, we are brought under His authority and covering. What hindered you cannot withstand Him. What blocked your progress cannot resist Him.

The gate that stopped your advancement, the captivity that delayed your journey — you will break through. You will pass through the very gate that once confined you and step into your victorious destination.

As you break open and move forward, the atmosphere shifts. The environment aligns. What once resisted you will no longer be permitted to hinder you, because your King has already gone before you. He does not send you alone — He leads you Himself.

Be of good cheer. No gate shall prevail over you. What has been shut must open. What has stood firm must bow. What delayed you cannot deny you any longer.

The Breaker is not behind you.He is not distant from you.He is at your head.

When the King moves, obstacles move.

When the Lord leads, barriers yield.

When Jesus goes before you, victory is not a possibility — it is a certainty.

Walk forward.Break through.Your King has already prepared the way.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, my Breaker and my King, go before me and make a way where there seems to be none. Break every gate that has hindered my progress and remove every obstacle in my path. Lead me forward in Your authority, prepare the way ahead of me, and establish my steps in victory. I trust You to go before me and fight for me.
