“Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them. How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them!”
Psalm 139:16-17 ESV

Sharing this testimony on my 43rd birthday today.
This scripture is so true in my life, and the way my life has been led is nothing short of a miracle.
I am the fifth child, conceived to a 23-year-old young woman—my mother. Since there was no gap between the fourth and fifth child, my mother was not mentally or physically prepared to carry me through.
She left all her other four children under someone’s care and, without my father’s and grandmother’s knowledge, went to a hospital to abort me. The doctor who had delivered her other four children examined her and refused to abort me because I was already a few weeks along. When my mother insisted, the doctor explained that, due to her young age and multiple pregnancies, it could turn out to be life-threatening because of heavy blood loss and a weakened uterus. He convinced her that it was safer to complete the pregnancy and give birth to me rather than aborting in the middle of it.
That was a great turning point, and the Lord spared my life for a purpose and carried me through.
Before I turned one, I had a life-threatening illness. The doctors had little hope, but once again, God restored my health.
I was well taken care of by my parents, and I was called their “lucky charm.” Along the way, I faced many spiritual battles and constant conflict between my parents. I attempted to take my life three times—once in seventh grade, once during high school, and once in college.
Again, God spared my life.
Growing up, I struggled with learning and failed in many subjects. Passing exams throughout school and college was a constant challenge. While most of my friends were placed on campus or got jobs right away, I was still struggling to clear my semester exams. Getting a job was also difficult.
I worked in a BPO company for a few months. One early morning, around 2 a.m., while returning from work, I narrowly escaped being hit by a train because the gatekeeper had fallen asleep and failed to close the gate. On another occasion, I had a narrow escape on the road when a driver dozed off.
In the middle of these struggles—between my job and my exams—God came through for me, and I accepted Him as my personal Savior.
God’s grace carried me through every step of my life. Eventually, I married the love of my life and moved to the USA to start a fresh, stress-free, and peaceful life. Life was beautiful. When we had a daughter, it became even more joyful, peaceful, and fulfilling. I began to truly enjoy life.
Then suddenly, everything changed. I lost my husband to a stroke while holding a three-year-old child. It was devastating. My joy felt like a mirage. Yet even in that loss, I encountered the love of Jesus more deeply and experienced the supernatural favor of God.
As a young widow, Jesus never left my side. In my grief and loss, He comforted me, guided me like a father, stood beside me like a brother, and strengthened me as a mother.
He became my faithful friend—my everything. I saw God move in unusual situations and do the impossible—things no human could do. My life began to blossom again with my Maker by my side.
For a few years, I slipped into depression, sickness, and suicidal thoughts, dealing with everything alone in the U.S. During those times, when my mother stayed with me, she prayed for me day and night.
One day, the light of God entered my room and set me free from the hold of the enemy. Slowly, I began to hear His voice again. It felt like a new birth—coming out of deep depression, fear, and anxiety.
The enemy thought he could finish my story, but my God and my Creator started a new chapter in my life. I married a widower with a daughter. It is a miracle in itself, and I will share that testimony another day.
Starting a new life was not easy, but walking through it with Jesus made all the difference.
He helped all four of us heal and be restored, and now we desire to live for Him.
I am a living witness to what God can do in a life.
Technically, the story the enemy wrote about me may have ended—but according to the Book of Life, I am a new creation.
What the enemy meant for evil, God has turned for good.
I now realize that the very path I walked through all my life is my calling—to help, comfort, pray, and bring healing to others. By the grace of God, I understand the language of pain and suffering because of what I have been through.
I feel so blessed to know that my life can touch someone. I don’t mind saying, “It is good that I am afflicted, that I may learn the statutes of God.”
I want to encourage everyone: no one’s life is a mistake, and no one is destined to remain in darkness. You are called for a great purpose, and you are precious in God’s sight.
God has a beautiful plan. Give Him space and trust Him as He works. The reason you are alive today and reading this is a reminder—God is not done with you yet.
Go deeper in His presence and rise higher to be seated with Him.
Jesus said that we will do even greater things. It is true—your hands will perform miracles, your words will bring deliverance, and your prayers will transform your home and even nations.
Be expectant of God’s glory.
You will give birth to a greater destiny.
Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for every life You have preserved with purpose. Thank You that no plan of the enemy can stop what You have written. Strengthen every heart reading this to trust You, even in pain and uncertainty. Let Your healing, restoration, and purpose be revealed in their lives.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
