“Just so, I tell you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”” Luke 15:10 ESV

All through the Bible, God has never rejected anyone forever.
He may turn His face away for a brief moment, but He has never forsaken nor rejected a repented heart. His love remains constant.
Every warning God gives through His servants and prophets is never meant to push us away, but to draw us closer to Him. When we ignore His voice, we deliberately choose a path that leads to destruction.
In Luke 15, Jesus shares a parable that reveals the heart of the Father toward His lost children. A father had two sons. The younger son demanded his portion of the inheritance and went to a distant land. There, he lived recklessly and wasted everything he had received from his father. When famine struck and he lost all he had, he was forced to work, even sharing food with pigs.
In that broken place, he remembered his father’s house—how even the servants ate better than he did. He repented in his heart, prepared his mind, and decided to return home, hoping only to be accepted as a servant.
But while he was still far off, the father saw him. The father ran toward him, embraced him, clothed him, and ordered a celebration. He rejoiced as though a dead son had come back to life. This is how heaven rejoices when a lost soul returns to God.
Let this message be a wake-up call. Let it find its way into your heart. Open your heart and know that the Father is waiting for your return.
You may have messed up. You may have backslidden, betrayed, misused His grace, or even forgotten His goodness. But understand this: your Father God Almighty is a forgiving God, and He desires you.
It is better to be in the arms of the Almighty than to be dying in the tents of wickedness. Therefore, repent and seek the Kingdom of God. May this year begin with reconciliation with the Father.
Your Father God Almighty will clothe you with newness and celebrate you, not reminding you of the sins of your past. I encourage you to accept this relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ. In Him, there is life—life in abundance.
Make the move today. Move into the Father’s arms. For it is better to spend one day in the courts of God than a thousand days elsewhere.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your unfailing love and mercy. Draw our hearts back to You. Help us to repent, return, and rest in Your presence. Clothe us with newness and restore our joy. We choose Your courts over everything else. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
